Tasmanian Myrtle Slab
Riddled with figure, this fantastic curly Myrtle chockers with Burl, is Kiln dry and at 2 meters long and 45mm thick, could make the perfect resin timber hybrid river table.
Perhaps resawing and making some box material and knife blocks is more your style, whatever you decide this timber is few and far between and not readily available.
This is a near heartwood slab so will need either a bowtie, resin or to be completly split down the centre, as there is a crack in the bottom of the slab, easily fixable however does need to be delt with.
Dimensions:
2000 x 600 x 45
Width is taken from near widest part of slab
Slab is kiln dry and ready to use
Rough sawn and sanded to show figure and grain.
