Dated at over 6,000 years old. An absolutly fantastic slab and masterful conversation piece.
Dimensions 1840 x 600/530/400 x 85
This slab is rough sawn, seasoned dry and should come down to within 70 and 75mm when machined flat. Machining is available, please contact us for a quote on what is needed.
This slab could potentially be resawn in half to get 2 thinner slabs, however the size and thickness of this slab is proportionally sound as is.
Slab has split all the way through in most parts, still held together by some parts of the timber however this wpuld make a fantastic feature piece featuring bowties to help hold the timber together or alternatively could be used in a resin river table, either using the 2 x 85mm halves, or bookmatching each half and getting 2 table size bookmatched sets from the 1 slab.
